Life’s Sacred Path

End-of-Life Wisdom from Kendra Barron

How This Collection Came to Be

Facing her own mortality with wonder instead of fear, artist and educator Kendra Barron sat down to share what she was learning about presence, acceptance, and the inner life that deepens when time becomes precious.

This collection of fifteen short videos offers end-of-life wisdom for anyone navigating this sacred passage—whether you’re walking your own path, supporting someone you love, or caring for others professionally. Kendra’s reflections are intimate, grounded, and quietly powerful. May they offer comfort, perspective, and perhaps a new way of seeing.

The Backstory

In 2021, Kendra Barron—artist, educator, and lifelong seeker—learned her cancer was terminal. Rather than retreat, she leaned in. She wanted to explore the experience with the same curiosity she’d brought to everything in her life: art, teaching, the I Ching, the inner workings of consciousness.

In a single, remarkable conversation, she sat down and shared everything she was discovering, not as advice, but as honest, lived reflection. These fifteen stories are the result. They were recorded with love and offered freely, in the hope that others might find something useful in her experience.

Kendra transitioned on September 1, 2023, sixteen months after she shared these stories.

About Kendra:

Kendra Barron (1945–2023) was an artist, educator, and lifelong explorer of consciousness. Raised in Berkeley, California, she studied at UC Davis and UC Berkeley before spending decades creating art that invited people into deeper self-awareness.

Her painting collection 64 Doors, inspired by the I Ching, was exhibited at galleries and universities across the Bay Area, including Stanford University and the California Institute for Integral Studies. Teaching adult education art classes deepened her understanding of creativity as a path to transformation, leading her to earn a Master’s in Arts and Consciousness from John F. Kennedy University.

Kendra brought the same curiosity to her final chapter that she brought to her art: a willingness to look closely, to stay open, and to share what she found. Learn more about Kendra’s 64-Doors here.
