Wisdom-Keeping Workshops

For each value you hold, there’s an origin story behind it. That’s my fundamental starting point when helping people find their core stories. What better place to stand than upon a foundation supported by the stories of who you are, what has shaped you, and why you do what you do?

I’m lit up by the experience people have when participating in the process I’ve created to help them find and tell the origin stories behind their values. They see themselves in a new light. They examine their lives more deeply. They connect in a real way with those they share their stories with, be it family, friends, their teams, customers, or complete strangers. Often, they tap into an ephemeral yet deep understanding of their place within our greater human family.

My Book!

I’m very proud to say I’ve written and published a book, My Life in Paragraphs: Find and Tell Your Stories. I chose to transform my story prompt card deck into an instructional guide that outlines my storytelling process. The book is both inspirational and practical. It consolidates everything I’ve talked about and developed over the past seventeen-plus years.

My purpose is to help and guide others in finding and telling their most meaningful stories. The book includes a few stories of my own, plus the 52 wisdom-keeping prompts I’ve crafted. I’ve also published a companion notebook. Both are available where most books are sold.

Legacy Videos

I’m heading into my 18th year of doing legacy interviews and creating private documentaries—my interest is to beautifully capture the essence of the people I’m privileged to interview. It’s a full package: good sound, nice lighting and setup, thought-provoking questions, and a sense of intimacy. I love it when I hear someone I’ve interviewed on video say, “You caught me!”

StoryCatcher for iOS is still going, launched in 2013. I love our app. It’s such a wonderful and simple tool. Give it a whirl. Memoir & Self-publishing Support

In an expansion to the video biographies I’ve been producing since 2008, I’m assisting a handful of lovely people in getting their written memoir complete. I offer coaching and project management, pulling from my thirty-plus years in production graphics (which started with newspapering). I delight in witnessing “the book inside” coming to life! It’s a sacred partnership.

Anthology: What Is Love?

I’m an active member of Story Republic, a global community of personal storytellers, founded by Bernadette Jiwa. We recently published our first collection of stories based on the prompt, “What is love?” I’m so honored to have one of my stories featured in the book. All proceeds go to charity. In a time when the headlines are pointing to division and chaos, love and connection remind us of what truly matters.
