About Kendra:
Kendra Barron was born in 1945 and grew up in Berkeley, California. In her 20s, she received artistic training at the University of California, Davis, and graduated from UC Berkeley. Throughout her life, she created stunning art and exhibited her paintings throughout the Bay Area, including at Stanford University, the California Institute for Integral Studies, and Diablo Valley College. Her “64 Doors” collection, inspired by the I Ching, was featured at the Olive Hyde Gallery in Fremont, SOMAR Gallery in San Francisco, the Victor Fisher Gallery in Oakland, and at Phoenix Alameda.
Education has always been Kendra’s passion. Years of teaching adult education art classes enriched her understanding of the psychological effects of the painting process, motivating her to earn a Master’s in Arts and Consciousness from John F. Kennedy University.
